How we began
After 9 Years of private practice, Christopher and his wife Jessica, decided to embark on the adventure of opening a Psychology Clinic in Kogarah.
Their goal was simple: to create a space that prioritises high-quality therapy and to help all who walk through the door achieve good mental well-being and immense personal growth.
Christopher, a highly experienced clinical psychologist, brings extensive expertise in evidence-based therapies to help individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma. Jessica, as practice manager, ensures that the clinic provides a warm, professional, and welcoming environment.
The journey began in July 2023, when Christopher stepped into a small two-room clinic at 8/40 Montgomery St, Kogarah. Looking around, he called Jessica. “It’s too dark,” he said. “I just can’t see it working.” But Jessica wasn’t convinced until she saw it for herself. After walking through the space, she turned to Christopher and said, “We can make this work.” That was all he needed to hear.
Determined to bring their vision to life, they threw themselves into the renovation. Between kids’ naps, Jessica ordered and put together furniture in their living room, while Christopher, after long days at work, painted walls late into the night. With the help of family, they brightened the space, transforming it into a warm and inviting clinic.
Just two weeks later, Mind Project Clinical Psychology was ready—a place built with hard work, passion, and a shared dream, dedicated to helping others on their journey to mental well-being.
